I have a fact I want to share and I’m mainly writing this because I’m not sure if I am the only one that has this reaction or not.
To start with a little back story… I’m not entirely sure how I feel about ghosts/spirits/paranormal activity. On one hand, I think a lot of the unexplained phenomenons we hear about are a result of active imaginations. On the other hand, I really want to believe that spirits exists and occasionally interact with us. I tend to be a see it to believe it kind of guy and as far as I know I haven’t had any run ins with ghosts or spirits (good or bad). I guess what I’m trying to say is while I think it’s a little silly at times I also find myself extremely fascinated by the topic.
So, I think we’ve all met someone who has claimed to be in the presents of a spirit and shares their stories. I was also addicted to a show on A&E for a while called Paranormal State, which according to the website was a show that investigated “inexplicable paranormal phenomena including sixth-sense experiences, ghost sightings, demonic disturbances, and brushes with the darkest areas of the unknown.” This show freaked me the fuck out and yet I continued to watch it. Same with the trailer for Paranormal Activity (see last post)
In all of these experiences I have this strange unforced reaction. If someone starts talking about ghosts/spirits or I’m watching something about paranormal activity (and it seems legit) my eyes just tear up. Not sure why. I’m not crying and I don’t feel sad when it happens. It’s completely involuntary.
